Wills Brothers Quartet

Don Wills

Bass

Don Wills anchors the Wills Brothers Quartet with the bass voice The Inspirationals were known for. A son of Bob Wills and grandson of A. B. “Pop” Wills, he grew up inside the family’s gospel-singing tradition and carries its sound into the group’s new chapter.

In 2017 Don and his brothers brought the group back together, and in 2026 he and Ron led the decision to take the Wills name — drawing a direct line from Pop Wills, through their father, to the quartet today.

Away from the stage, Don is pastor of First Baptist Church of Fort Worth, where he has served for nearly 40 years — the same congregation that hosts the quartet’s annual Friday After Thanksgiving concert.
